We are looking for help with the following positions. None of the jobs are onerous and more information about each role can be provided either by email or by an informal chat with Daivd Treger (Chair) or Maggie Lawrie (Vice Chair). If you are interested in helping out please get in touch.
Secretary
Primary purpose is to set up and organise Club meetings, to take minutes and circulate them to the relevant people. The role would suit someone who is organised and is a good communicator with good IT skills. The Committee meet once every 5-6 weeks normally.
Child Protection Officer
Primary purpose is to ensure all relevant members within the Club have a PVG certificate in place and that the Club is adhering to child protection legislation. Full training will be provided and extensive support for the role is available via Snowsport Scotland.
Health and Safety Co-ordinator
Primary purpose is to ensure the Club is adhering to relevant H&S legislation, to ensure all H&S policies are reviewed and up-to-date, and to record and investigate (if necessary) any accidents on the slope. Support for this role is available via Snowsport Scotland.
